MONSTER REGISTER

Halloween is coming and, each year, new monster appear to scare children. As an agent of the Monster Control Unit, you need to make a file for the new monster you’rve discovered. Make sure you follow all the following steps to create the file for your monster and try to create the scariest monster in the class.

STEP 1:

Decide how you want your monster to look. Does it have legs? Does it have eyes? Does it have sharp teeth?

Draw your monster or use software to create it. You can create your monster in Powerpoint by using .png images and erasing and pasting different pictures. More information will be given at class.

STEP 3:

Describe your monster. Make a description of your monster, including the parts of its body and how many of each it has, colors, fur, etc. Make sure you also comment any special features we may not see at first (e.g. it glows in the dark, can swim, etc).

STEP 4:

Create a history for your monster. Where does it live? What does it eat? How was it born? How can you kill it? How dangerous is it? How long does it live? Feel free to say as much as you need to make it the scariest monster in the class.

STEP 5:

Fill this Monster File Card either on the sheet given at class or on the computer. You will have to print the file you edit on the computer.

STEP 6:

Create a presentation to show your classmates the monster you’ve discovered. Make sure you give as many details as possible and try not to read any information.

 

The scariest monster and its discoverer will be given an especial award for their extraordinary work.
